Whats Yo Fave LP By Philip Bailey???

Continuation-1983
The Wonders of His Love-1984
Chinese Wall-1985
Triumph-1986
Family Affair-1989
Inside Out-1990
Philip Bailey-1994
Dreams-1999
Life and Love-2002
Soul on Jazz-2002

Are the ones from from Philip and some of them are out of print(still you could find somewhere). My fave from him is "Dreams" and "Soul On Jazz" he sounds very good and smooth, not 2 mention the poetic/rhyming concept of these 2 LPs are just wonderful.

The only album by him that I have is 'Chinese Wall'(1984).It's a strong album but I prefer his work with EW&F.

IMHO His Solo Albums overall are Kinda Corny.I like some songs here&there."I Know" from His First Album is My Cut&I dig "Easy Lover" a bit still.but without Maurice White&the Elements behind Him things are out of focus for me.now I like some of His Gospel Songs but the same thing with the Albums.

I can understand this coming from EW&F's hardcore fans but personaly I'm no hardcore of them which makes it easy 2 support the brotha's solo work. What makes me love it is its very different from EW&F's stuff, he could get outta their shadow unlike Maurice White who didn't desert their sound when he released his solo LP.

I love the peacful jazzy/mellow feel in his music, plus its very well produced and organized.

BTW I'm kinda embarrassed to ask this question but what instruments does he play?
