Ruben and Trenyce the bottom two? What? What the fuuuck is happening to America??? They were two of the best ones and sucky ass Josh stays. Even Josh thought he was going home. Then they have the nerve to send Trenyce home. She was better than Kimberly in my opinion. I'm not gonna say what I think this is really all about, but it sucks. Did anybody else see this shit?

I also agree - this is at least the 3rd week that Josh was bad enough to get sent home. To have him outvote Ruben is especially absurd. The contest should be between Clay and Ruben. Clay is flat out the best singer in the competition, and Ruben is clearly a better singer than anyone else. I thought that's what the competition was all about - to find the best singer.

They screw up every week though - they say "vote for your favorite". Not "vote for the best singer" or even "vote for the best singer tonight".

I agree with those that say if Josh wasn't a marine, he'd have been long gone.

Josh has to go home next week - they're doing Bee Gees songs (Robin Gibb is the celbrity judge) and I can't think of any Bee Gees hits he could pull off. He doesn't have any range to his voice and you sure need a lot of range to do a Bee Gees song well.

Now as far as the whole Josh thing goes, I can promise you that had he been a marine of a dfferent nationality he would be long gone by now. I can also promise you that he won't win the competition and will not get a damn thing outside of the show either. To tell you the truth, i don't even know how he got in the finals. Everytime he sings I have to turn the tv down that's how bad he is. Same with Carmen. And it still vexes me that when they did the disco night, he wasn't even in the bottom 3. Anyone remember that performance?
This show has the right intention: to find a TALENTED performer, BUT what do reall expect when America votes? This has to be one of the most supericial countries in the world. Thse are the same people that eat up all of current music today, think they know what the hell they'e talking about?

Now, if this is the real deal, Clay will win. They are supposed to be looking for the best singer, wich Clay is, Ruben , Kimberly & Treynyce fall right behind. Noticce how Josh's name doesn't show up anywhere in that last sentence. If you ask me, they really shouldn't let America vote, because as shown tonight they went with thier "favorite", think they really give a damn if he can sing or not? I agree...I'm sad T is gone...I've loathed America for keeping Carmen and Josh so long...I'll be attending next weeks results show and if Josh stays another week...look for a BIG ASS ANGRY MEXICAN to cause a stir in the audience!

TOTAL BULLSHIT Josh has been suckin ass for a long time. Unless it's a country song & he's singing in his upper register, he sounds like shite. He ain't versatile enough & should have been gone by now.

Trenyce's voice it GREAT. She just needs a little more control, but she could stomp Josh in the ground in her sleep. I won't even talk about Roooben being in the bottom 2 I say middle America shouldn't be allowed to have telephones

On another note - Corey got signed?? I never did like his voice, but good luck to him

Clay...I LOVE his voice, but I agree with Rhondab-it belongs more on Broadway than in a pop song. No matter what happens with this competition, I'm betting he'll end up there and have a long successful career.

Considering how last year, they kept that no talent pink haired girl in the contest until the very end and voted off TAMYRA (I know I spelled her name wrong ), it is no surprise to me that they kept that screw up Josh in the competition...it sucks wind, but like you have all stated...we know what this show is all about. Josh is such a horrible performer...just like that karaoke bar owning chick that stayed until the end last year :dibelief: Simon's face said it ALL last night.

Clay's going to win and Clay will have a heck of a career as a pop star - he's the best on the show this year, and everyone left but Josh are better than last year's winner. If Josh is smart, he's sing Grease. I'm just cringing here at the thought of him trying Stayin' Alive.

What makes Clay so good is he doesn't sound like anyone else. Kelly Clarkson's new song sounds ok - but would it really sound much any different if someone else sang it (britney, chritina, pink, etc.)?

Just watch what Clay does with a Bee Gees song this week. You can't sing their songs without a lot of vocal talent.

I think the final two will be Clay and Ruben. Ruben will have a career no matter what. I think Clay will be a more comtemporary pop artist like Celine Dion

Josh should have never made it on the show, but it was good drama for the American nationalists during the war. The whole marine thing has been working in his favor ever since, covering up his whiny crackling voice.

Trynece... well she started off shaky with the whole criminal history thing and her horrific pics on smokingun didn't help. Still she can SANG her ass off and did not deserve to be kicked off. She was too brown.

And that goes for Reuben. I will be pleasantly surprised if a heavy set black man gets chosen as "America's idol."

I agree here too - Josh was probably 2nd worse of the final 12 (Carmen being the worst). He only made it this far because he's a marine and because he talks back to Simon. The thing is, Simon's usually right. He's just not very tacktful about it.



this kind of talk really bugs me. How could the voting possibly be racist when 3 of the final 5 are black. Except for Josh, I've been plesantly surprised at america's voting. The hot white kimberly got voted off weeks ago while the overweight black kimberly is in the final 4 because she's the better singer. And race has NOTHING to do with Josh sticking around. It's because he's a marine, plain and simple.

Clay should win, and if he does, it won't be because he's white. It'll be because he's the best singer, plain and simple. #2 is a battle between Ruben and Kimberly (who's really stepped it up).

Clay, Ruben, Kiberly Lock, and Tyrence all will come out of this show with successful careers. I have my doubts about Josh - but perhaps he could make it as a country singer.
