Can't really answer your question, but I do agree with you about missing the old CDNow! They actually gave details on a lot of stuff that they just don't now that they've merged with Amazon. sad

What's wrong with Amazon? I'm always impressed with their service.

Not as detailed as CDNow was. You could get more track details (like the length and credits) on a lot of the albums they listed, unlike now.

Mymusic.com has really good prices with most major seller going for $10.99 or even $9.90. It's a Canadain website so they sell some CDs that might be considered imports. They have some sort of rare stuff like singles. I haven't shopped their since teh winter of 2001. But check it out.

I'm now in the habit of buying cd's from

bestbuy.com

their prices are "competitive"- at least better than Tower, & usually better than cdnow.com, whom I think has the best selection.

I'm going to check out mymusic.com, I'd never even heard of them, & their prices look good..

So Harpolis, I'd recommend bestbuy.com for their purchase security, prices & free delivery, though sometimes the delivery comes a day or 2 later than it should.

Post who/what you decide to do on this, Harpolis..
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

Ive had ALOT of problems with them. They NEVER remove anything from their site and, when you order something rare, they pretend to look for it for 4 months and then claim its out of stock. Why not just remove the product when its no longer available? Also, when you pre-order something from them before its release date, they often snooze on it and finally send it after you contact them (which is also not an easy thing to do).

Spun.com is a nice site .You can order new or used CDs and DVDs or sell your old stuff to them .
