I have all of those CDs too! My favorite is the "Rufus featuring Chaka Khan" album(1975).I love the songs "Fool's Paradise" and "Circles" and their cool remake of The Bee Gees hit "Jive Talkin".

Rufus Featuring Chaka Khan: It's ok. It includes "Sweet Thing" and a couple of other songs that are aiight. 2 me it's nothing 2 really write home about, but I LOVE that album cover. The lips alone.

Street Player: By far the tightest Rufus rekid 2 me. Soulful Chaka sangin hard on alot of trax. "Destiny" is definitive hidden Chaka classic. "Blue Love""Stranger 2 Love". Then u cant 4get "Stay"
ya never know love until somebody leaves u...im still sangin that song!smile

Masterjam: Damn. Ummm. Ur gonna b upset about this 1. It is kind of flat other than "Do U Love What U Feel" "Heaven Bound" (something like "Sleep On It" from the 'Chaka" LP). "Walk The Rockway" is ok also.
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Why is that? Quincy Jones made the set I believe, shouldn't be great 4 that. I too love "Do U Love What You feel" thats my jam.

Ask Rufus is the best of the list, to me. Close The Door, Hollywood, Magic In His Eyes, Everlasting Love...It's one of those you can just put on and let play.

"Rufusized" is an awesome record. Best Tracks: "Somebody's Watching You", "Step on By" and "Half Moon".

And don't think for a second that because I go by the handle of "New Wave Forever" that I don't like the funk.
NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
