Is it routine that if a pop artist/ actor becomes a global, trending hit, they score an appearance with Madonna? I'll try to make sense as much as possible.
So it's common knowledge that Madonna hires the best musicians, producers, dancers, fashion designers, etc, for her musical work and tours. Madonna is constantly seen with the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
But it seems a rite of passage for celebrities that if they become a global, trending hit, it also gets the attention of Madonna and she makes a public appearance with them so people get even more starstruck.
Like when Miley Cyrus became a trending topic in 2013 with her new look and Madonna performed "Don't Tell Me" with her. Or even now with Lil Nas X and Sam Smith breaking records and being talked about, and she gives them the honour of being seen in public with her at the 2023 Grammys.
It's like Madonna gravitates towards the newest, latest, even record-breaking artists. She's been doing this since the 1980s.
Of course, nothing wrong with this. Lots of people, famous or not, like to be seen in public with Madonna. Like I mentioned earlier, meeting Madonna seems a rite of passage for artists who get phenomenally famous and trending.
