He's spot on, and usually is with all his videos. He has another breaking down streaming and other things related, how Tik Tok is viewed as a major influence in music but streaming does not really show this long term of that being true as propping up actual long term artists at all. As for that top 10 I mean when I saw this recently I was amazed at the top 10 being so repetitive but not really shocked because again streaming numbers to me at least are meaningless because you literally can just sample thirty seconds of a song and it counts and then a certain amount counting as sales, and another video that was done by Rock Biographer Martin Popoff pointing out how people in the industry if you ask them , THEY even say they have no clue how this counting is done, because you can have a song on numerous compilations but what is getting counted? The album version, the hits version, the remaster version its a whole lot of blurred numbers so the fact you own nothing is to me an accounting of nothing. AS for Rick Beato 100% correct and he usually likes and finds something redeeming in some crap songs.
