Underrated jam, one of my fav. Time songs.

The rest of the album just meh. I remember the summer of 84 when the

first single Ice Cream Castles came out and I was like what the hell is this.

That was definitely a Prince track that he should have kept for himself.

I know Morris was probably saying why he got me singing this shit.

They had the movie project and all coming so I know it was almost impossible

for Morris to totally go against Prince but it eventually came to a head anyway.

yeah,I was slighty disappointed in the album when it first came out.The previous album What Time Is It? is so powerful...every track is a winner.I don't think Ice Cream Castles is quite as good.It's decent and has a few great tracks,but something is missing.It lacks that wild party atmosphere that we heard on the previous album.The title track is okay but as you pointed out,it doesn't really sound like a 'Time' track.
