Just got an old vinyl pressing of Stevie Nick's "Wild Heart" LP for eight bucks and damn does it sound good! Wish she had done more songs with Tom Petty--their voices really complimented each other.

On Tuesday, I bought his album on CD.
On Wednesday, I found the 12" extended single in my own collection.

Nice! Just opened up a sealed virgin copy of Tina Turner's "Break All The Rules" LP that I got on Ebay for $10 and it plays like brand new! I've never heard this album before, believe it or not!

My second concert ever was on Tina's tour for this one! I loved "Typical Male" (at 6 years old, lol)

The new Natalie Merchant album "Keep Your Courage". Its a challenging listen. This is the first of her albums where songs were not instantly likeable to my ears.

Damn, I'm so jealous! As old as I am I never saw Tina live--now I regret that! That's why I always tell younger people go see these legends while you can! I'm glad I took my son to see Prince ten times as well as other artists.

New addition that I'm excited to hear after going to the record store and trading in some vinyl that I don't listen to--the new Metallica album. Saw the cinema release last night but they didn't crank the volume up enough! Now I will blast Metallica at FULL VOLUME on the turntable the way they are meant to be heard! BTW some really good songs on this album IMO.
