It's interesting that the song made its debut in the movie, but wasn't out on the soundtrack.

Also, Survivor's "You're The Best" was sent to Stallone for Rocky III, but was rejected in favor of "Eye of the Tiger." So "You're The Best" ended up on The Karate Kid. They also got the main theme slot, too, "The Moment of Truth."

But seriously, no one ever remembers "Robert DeNiro is Waiting" but I loved that song as much as "Cruel Summer." But it was a bigger song in the UK than the US.
