I saw it. I loved the videos with him and Janet. Janet is such a sweetie! Did you see the footage of "Joe Jackson Day" when her and Mike bought their father a boat. That was so charming. Katherine is a nice woman as well. I really enjoyed this special.

That was pretty depressing! wow.. It looks like MJ has come to grips he is over... and is just enjoying the past memories

lets not even bring up the info-mercial of trying to bring home the same points from The Rebuttal..in the begining of the second hour & trying to make himself look "human" enough to sell his Back Catalog..

the dude just lies? He said out of his OWN mouth on 20/20 he didn't know Princess Diana that well.. NOW he is her best friend..

also trying to sneek out that HE is the reason Janet is amazing because she RIPPED OFF him? was pretty sad..

I swear I thought MJ was going to shoot himself at the end of this special.. The WHOLE Special came off like a "Suicide Video".. just thinking and remembering of the past..

wow!

Michael Please no more 2 hour specials like that!

From what I can recall, he said that he WAS good friends with her during the 20/20 interview.

I just found an Interview with the author of MJ's official biography on a german website. Look what he had to say...

Interviewer: There are information and rumours spreading around. What are your information on Michael's future, a possible new album, and all these things?

Christian Marks: Musically there will be definitively something new. Lately, Michael was at the recording studio in Miami ("The HitFactory") and recorded a song together with his good friend Barry Gibb. And one big thing: An US-tour is definitively planned. Michael is currently preparing to relaunch his career and to rock the entire world for one more time. I personally think that is exactly the right moment to do that. Michael is currently as popular as in his best times and the whole world speaks about him. That is a perfect situation to release new stuff.

I donno how close this guy is to the "inner cirlce" but at least it is something half official.

I had to work. Was there anything really surprising in the special? Did he act strangely around kids in it? Did it show him doing anything regarding making music, or anything that could be classified as more adult-like behavior? What's the scoop...

Music, yes. I haven't seen it yet cos I'm in the UK, but I've downloaded the first part and more will be up later. Rehersals for the Bad video and Smooth Criminal apparently. Surprise birthday gift on stage on the HIStory tour, various clips of dancing through the years. Never before seen clip of Jackson 5 performing at a party before they got a record deal.

There are no headlines, the media are really grasping at straws at the moment, pointing out the "irony" of Michael dancing to an R Kelly record in a car. That's literally the worst that they could come up with. If there was anything freaky, weird or sinister shown then we all would have heard about it by now.

What's the irony of MJ dancing to an R. Kelly record? If you're referring to child molestation, then MJ's most successful song in a good while being written by RK and called "You are Not Alone" would be a better link for them surely?

I thought he came out a little more human than weird, though it's weird that he needed his friends to go to the supermarket so that the shopping experience would be more real to him. I came out of it feeling more sorry for him now than when that Living With Michael Jackson special came on.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
