So I’m having some fun, trying to come up with a perfect set list biggrin since this is a “celebration” of the hits,I think these are the songs that should definitely be on the set list…

“Holiday”
“Into The Groove”
“Crazy For You”
“Like A Virgin”
“Angel”
“Dress You Up”
“Open Your Heart”
“Live To Tell”
“Like A Prayer”
“Express Yourself”
“Vogue”
“Deeper and Deeper”
“Rain”
“Secret”
“Take A Bow”
“Frozen”
“Music”
“Hung Up”
“Borderline”
“La Isla Bonita”
“Causing A Commotion”
“Everybody”
“Ray Of Light”

that’s 23 songs in a 2-hour show. All the major hits are accounted for.Longtime fans would lose their minds if this was the actual set list biggrin

What do you guys think?

.

Gonna need Material Girl, Cherish, and I'd love to see Beautiful Stranger and Bedtime Story and Human Nature.

Madonna recently released a "new" song. It's actually a demo of a track she worked on with Pharrell,"Back That Up To The Beat",a few years ago.I kinda like it.....a very fun, hypnotic groove!

What is your relationship with religion today?

Madonna: I think it’s important to have ritualistic behavior and a spiritual life. Religion without understanding, knowledge, curiosity, and inclusivity – I don’t consider that to be religion. I’m not subscribing to religious groups that are exclusive of others or extremist in any shape. However, I do respect all religions and encourage people to look into whatever religious belief system they follow. To understand and study their holy books and to understand their ritualistic systems, because otherwise without understanding it’s just dogma and rules, and an empty exercise. My relationship with religion is that I remain very involved in my own spiritual practice and I think it’s imperative for everyone to have a spiritual practice – but I am not defining that for other people. I do think it’s vital to pray and to have connection with some spiritual lifestyle / life force or whatever you want to call it. There is just no way you can survive and get through life without connecting to the idea that there is a higher power and energy force - many energy forces. That there is a metaphysical, mystical world that we are all a part of and need to stay connected to».

What are you afraid of?

Madonna: The idea of living in a society where you can’t be free to express your individuality or your thoughts frightens me. It seems to me that people are increasingly afraid of expressing their opinions, of being authentic. It's like living in one of those futuristic dystopian movies. The problem is that these scenarios have started to come true and that’s scary».

see this is someone I can feel sympathetic toward and relate to. maybe I should just read her
interviews?

I find that I can't watch her anymore. Tried to watch the tour promo, could not do it. lol

Got my tickys for 2 nights @ MSG, Ticketmaster is such a hustler. Glad I'm poor cuz I'd be stressed AF as a rich person trying to pick "good seats".

Hey, I'm curious how much you paid for the ticket & the fees. It's none of my business, but I'm probably poorer than you, and was wondering what they're going for.

I could search myself of course, but if you don't mind sharing, I'd appreciate it.

I looked at the prices for one of the shows in my area. They got nosebleed seats going for $200 eek lol I think I’ll just wait for the blu-ray,lol

The Ticketmaster system is shameful and I feel sad for the people that really spend however I got out of it all with one ticket each for two nights at about 200 a pop, so 400 US total. These are the nosebleeds. I had same area for Duran Duran so I’m ok with it.

She exactly states how I think too.

I love here points of view on these matters.

Hope she's doing some more interviews before the tour starts, just to spread positive words like these, that are much needed these days, more than ever.

I paid the same to see Duran Duran at the local arena here last year where Madonna will perform...but I waited until two days before the show and got tickets for $200 in the lower bowl near the stage with a great view. I won't pay $200 plus for nosebleed seats in the upper bowl. Will wait and see if I can do the same for Madonna. Haven't seen her since the Rebel Heart tour.

.

I'm pretty easy going, regarding "Classic Madonna" it would be nice to hear Angel, Causing A Commotion, Physical Attraction. amongst heavy hitters like Express Yourself, Like A Virgin, and Holiday. I got to see her do True Blue and Who's That Girl on Rebel Heart tour, both renditions were super fun.

.

90s Madonna gets a little dicey but I would love to hear Secret and Beautiful Stranger. Maybe not Human Nature this time around.

For this tour,Madonna should bring back her awesome backup singers Niki and Donna! The three of them created some truly magical moments onstage....rememeber this performace?

Madonna - Rain (The Girli... - YouTube

Niki and Donna were always a huge part of the show and for good reason.

I guess I'm a fan to an extent but I wouldnt invest in going to see her live, I'm not so into the show type like with the ICONIC artists, I saw MJ once it was ok, I saw George Michael once it was also OK, Prince I saw a million times and that was different because it ranged from clubs to theatres to bigger venues he clearly was stronger in small venues to me. I shy away from these huge shows, MSG venues big ticket prices, sitting far away because if you want to be down front good luck paying a kings ransom for that, but I dont get the experience from larger venues, thats just me I know some love it and go to nothing but big shows, I stopped that a long time ago.
