I've had my MJ/Jacksons playlist on since seeing this post. While the Destiny/Off the Wall/Triumph/Live era is still my go-to...I have to say his newer songs are aging very well to my ears. I sort of wrote him off after History back in the day, but Strangers in Moscow, Rock My World, Butterflies, and a few others are sounding really good!! I may need to revisit the albums. cool

I thoroughly enjoyed Invincible. I think I've said before that I thought it had too many schmaltzy ballads but they don't detract from the good songs for me. I don't listen to Michael Jackson regularly but when I do, I tend to listen to his later works more so than his earlier stuff. Funnily enough, I do the same thing with Prince's music too for the most part.

I'm the same.
Give me history/ invincible/ or Xscape over thriller and bad

Also I tend to listen to prince outtakes and the albums from 2004-2016 more than the 80s stuff

I think it's because some of the 80s classics got played too much and got stale over time.
