Anti-War Songs Someone was talking about Nena's "99 Red Balloons." As a side thought, I remembered it's an anti-war song. Then I thought - what other anti-war songs were popular in the 80s? A couple off the top of my head: The War Song - Culture Club Invisible Sun - Police Sunday Bloody Sunday - U2 19 - Paul Hardcastle When The Children Cry - White Lion Hammer to Fall - Queen (debateable) Pipes of Peace - Paul McCartney 1999 - Prince America - Prince Dance On - Prince Sign O The Times - Prince You Dropped A Bomb On Me - The GAP Band (although more specific to an event)
