You gotta be in a certain mood for that early stuff.

Disintegration is revered for good reason, it's got a more mature, almost romantic vibe to the sadness, more dreamy and wistful.

My fav from that era will always be their B-Side to "Lovesong", a song titled "2 Late", it's like "Just Like Heaven" washed in the Disintegration style. They were like Prince where the B-sides were often their best material.
