Are You Ready To "Surrender" To Bono? Bono's memior "Surrender" comes out Nov. 1st and I'm totally hear for it. I've always felt that of all the musicians that should write a book Bono was definitely at the top of the list. He's such a great talker that the written word was begging for it. Also a life of political activism, worldwide stadium tours and religion is way more worthy of a memior than your standard celebrity biography. The release of the book also coincides with a one of a kind book/concert tour. > The tour

Got my copy of the book--getting ready to dig into to it. Bono's going to be in town for the book tour but the balcony seats were $100 and the floor seats at $300 are waaaaaaaaaay too expensive. Paid less than $100 to see U2 in front of the stage in 2018. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

My apologies. You're speaking of The Streisand Effect. I made up The Streisand Affect, which was my "clever" way of referring to the time Streisand had her famous comback tour and was charging hundreds of dollars per ticket. It's my way of referring to someone with the stature to afford charging so much for tickets, so in that sense Bobo has reached the Streisand AFFECT. Sorry for the confusion.
