Any singers or bands you get mixed up? I get both Bryan Adam's and Michael Bolton mixed up.I guess it's because they both came out on the music scene around the same time and they both sing sappy love songs Also get Nikki Minaj and Cardi B mixed up.To my ears they sound a lot alike

Mostly from todays artists I just cant tell them vocally apart because of the use of auto tone and production techniques to make all sound alike, everyone just sounds the same. I get the Bryan Adams Michael Bolton thing though I have to disagree because Bolton only really had slow songs, Adams could rock and has varied albums where as Bolton turned into a crooner singing standards etc...

Once I was at a festival where Barenaked Ladies were playing and I accidentally referred to them as Smashmouth. My friend was a BL fan and not amused.

When I first heard Burn Rubber, I thought it was Stevie Wonder. But depending on the song, Stevie, Charlie Wilson, George Benson, & Donny Hathaway all sing in a similar style. I also thought Groove Me (Guy) was The Gap Band & Vision Of Love (Mariah Carey) was Whitney Houston, lol. Damon Harris sounds exactly like Eddie Kendricks. I guess that's why he was hired to replace Eddie in The Temptations. Freedom Williams from C+C Music Factory kinda sounds like Ice-T. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I used to get Robert Palmer and Peter Gabriel mixed up because of similar New Age music videos in the mid 80's especially with Gabriel's Sledgehammer video looking similar to Robert Palmer videos of that era. I also used to get Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins mixed up in the 70's and it was simply the trademark beards. Ironically these guys use to collaborate on songs together. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
