Ya thats my favorite version, can't stand the Immaculate remix versions. I think they're so cheesy sounding.

my highlights are "Like A Prayer","Physical Attraction","Secret","Bedtime Story","Sorry" and "Give It 2 Me".

Felix Da Housecat's remix of "American Life" is a nice surprise.Very 80s-sounding groove.It's not like a typical remix.He totally transformed the song and I like it.

I just love the Soul II Soul vibes of that Keep It Together remix. I haven't gotten much into the second half yet, looking forward to the American Life remixes.

fun fact: when Madonna and Warners were planning to release "Keep It Together" as a single,they were going to use "Vogue" as the B-side! Those plans were changed and they wisely saved that song for later.Of course,it became a massive hit single in its own right.

Those Junior Vasquez mixes were always favorites back in the day. I loved the maxi of "Secret" way more than the album version.

Pretty bold of her to put his remixes on her compilation since she's went so hard on locking him out after this "If Madonna Calls" song. She got a little too up in her feelings about that, IMO. She "relented" and let one of his remixes on some other compilation or something a while back.

Y'all got me stoked to hear the Finally Enough Love collection--but I'm holding out until I get the vinyl on Monday. It's hard though... If I love it enough thinking about getting the CD collection even though I've sworn off buying any more CDs... Got too many already. Plus I'm really into vinyl now after not owning any since the '80s.

Ooh, just went downstairs and got a box from Amazon--thought it was a hat... But it turned out to be Madonna's new vinyl album! So excited! And just when I went to the dermatologist today for an all over body check for skin cancer and got a clean bill of health! Just took off the James Brown album from the turntable (sorry, James! LOL) and about to play the new Madonna album.

I've been listening to it off and on today while working around the house. I've enjoyed the remixes, although there's a hard shift later in her career to more heavy, clubby sounds. Once you hit that 2003 era, it starts to get a little thud-heavy.

But it's been a fun romp through it all so far. I wish she'd just relent and put "Rescue Me" on something.

I forgot how fun the Miami Mix of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" was.

ya know,you are right.I was listening to this compilation on my morning walk and when it got to "Physical Attraction",I just had to turn it up.That's a really great track.It is definitely a highlight of her debut album.

These are all Billboard Club chart #1s, although she left off "Causing A Commotion" and replaced it with "Physical Attraction". Still criminal to me that "Rescue Me" wasn't a club number 1, but I guess the single was a last-minute thing and kind of rushed and didn't get a video. She did include it on the Madame X tour as a spoken interlude (titles "Breathe Work" on the live album) and there was a short clip of her rehearsing a full-live version on Instagram during the rehearsals.
