RIP, indeed.

.

Holland-Dozier-Holland should absolutely be mentioned at LEAST as often as songwriting teams like Lennon-McCartney, Jagger-Richards, Taupin-John...

.

Unbelievable body of incredible work to stand for all time.

I’ve been informed that my opinion is worth less than those expressed by others here.

They are. At least they are where I live in UK.

RIP

I still play his poppy solo album "Inside seduction" from 1991. Dated as hell, but I dig a few cuts.

His work for 80's pop stars like Eric Clapton, Climie Fisher, Boy George, Boz Skaggs, Debbie Gibson, Alison Moyet and of course Phil Collins, were good too. I like how Phil returned the favour to appear on and even in the video to his "The Quiets too loud".

I understand no one is looking to his 80's co-writes, but well, I do LOL...

Brian Holland/Lamont Dozier/Eddie Holland

Along with, Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis,

and, Maurice White/Charles Stepney

My alltime favorite, and in my opinion. the greatest songwriting/production teams in the history of recorded music.
