Guess I'm never there at the right time! lol Gonna see the Elvis movie tomorrow. Got two vinyl in the mail today... Samantha Fish's "Black Moon Howlin'" I ordered months ago...

...and Prince's "The Gold Experience" RSD vinyl, which Amoeba Records L.A. still had some copies of.

Playing old vinyl today. Picked this one up at a used record store about a year and a half ago... Sounds almost unplayed.

Also, went down to the record store two blocks from me today that has been there since the 80s and sad to hear that the owner will probably sell his business after his lease ends in a year. Corporations are buying up everything. Sad to see so many small local businesses go under due to greed. The dude has some vintage top of the line Technics 1200 turntables to listen to music to! I offered to buy one if he goes out of business! But, I traded in some old vinyl I got in a lot I don't listen to for these:

Currently,I am enjoying the new Chicago CD,Born For This Moment.I'm a longtime fan of this band and I'm thrilled that they have new music out.The album is very good.

This Donny repress from Rhino is just above average. I know a friend who used to complain

about Rhino cd's in the 90's. It sounds good overall but the Back Together again duet with

Roberta Flack is the worst. It sounds like how one of us use to take our portable rectangular cassette player and record off the radio back in elementary school. Nevertheless a great collection of songs.

Amazon had one of my favorite Madonna albums on sale; first time hearing it on vinyl.
