A new Madonna compilation called Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones will be released in August. Part remix collection, part ‘best of’ this 3CD set has been curated by Madonna and, as the title suggests, contains 50 tracks that have topped the Billboard dance chart over the years and decades.

*** What I like about this release is....it puts the focus back on her music and her legacy.Madonna needs to sit back and (finally) celebrate her legacy and all that she's accomplished.Some fans are complaining that there aren't any "new" remixes here but I'm okay with that.I wanna celebrate these songs with the proper remixes from the era that they were released.

***it's still a shame that "Causing A Commotion" isn't included if space was an issue, she could have easily left off "Me Against The Music" or one of the more recent tracks.But maybe there are future plans to release a remastered 'Who's That Girl' soundtrack?

***one of her best remixes is the Pet Shop Boys remix of "Sorry".I'm glad that it's included here.This set also boasts a rare treat: the "Impressive Instant" remix.

Nearly all 50 of Madonna’s Dance Club Songs No. 1s are represented on Finally Enough Love. Her double-sided No. 1s (“Holiday”/“Lucky Star” and “Angel”/“Into the Groove”) are present through the inclusion of the 7-inch version of “Holiday” and the You Can Dance Remix Edit of “Into the Groove.” Absent from the collection is her 1987 No. 1 “Causing a Commotion.”

Notably, one of her Dance Club Songs No. 1s is actually an entire album – the 1987 remix project You Can Dance, which topped the chart in 1988. (Prior to Feb. 23, 1991, the chart wasn’t always song-specific and full albums were, at various points, allowed to chart.) You Can Dance is represented on Finally Enough Love by way of three remix edits from the set (for “Into the Groove,” “Physical Attraction” and “Everybody”).

I ever like when they edit remixes though, I understand that its almost impossible teh release 50 full versions, but the point of a remix is the full version. Remixes usually build up to somthing.

Otherwise its just the same song with a different beat.

Good point.They could have used the full versions and made this into a 10-CD set if necessary.Her fans would still buy it anyway or they could have just created two sets: one with the edits (at a cheaper price,of course) and another,more expensive set with the full versions.
