Hmmm, I sure hope things don't get worse for him. It just really doesn't look good for Luther right now, so I'm REALLY hoping he'll pull through all of this OK.

Yes, this makes me very sad to hear all of this and
to find out he has been in a coma all this time. I
really do that he makes it through.. Everytime I think of him a song of his pop up in my head like at this moment "A house is not a home"---Please ppl do take care of
yourselves any odd symptoms your feeling don't ignore it.
Right now let's not take life granted..and

All we need is

Very sad. He is only minimally neurologically responsive. He hasn't even spoken or opened his eyes since the stroke.

I didn't realise it was this serious.

This man has made me happy many many days as I listened to his music.
I have seen him in concert many times.
I have sooo many live performances on tape.
I am glad I do.
Whatever happens, I do believe I will see and hear him again.
The promise of life in a peaceful new world is so real to me.
I hope that whatever happens is in Luther's best interest.
I pray for him and also for his Mom and his nieces and nephews that
he has raised for his sisters who died young.
I can not even begin to imagine how they must feel.
This is not life the way God intended.
This will one day all be changed.

ICU's harbor bugs that run rampant and are harbored in most ICU wards (nosocomial bugs), and one of the main concerns for any patient spending a long time in the ICU is that he will contract a nosocomial infection. Nosocomial pneumonia is a huge problem in most ICU's. I'm sure they have him on antibiotics that fight these pathogens. Be strong.

I have an uncle that just turned 58 years old with muscular dystrophy. they told him that he wouldn't live past 15 years old.

Pretty sad, because Luther seems to be a fairly decent chap. He has a great fucking singing voice. Hate to see the world have that kind of loss--Even sadder, they would not care or notice.

I'm really worried now. I wasn't before because My grandma had a stroke before and she's ok, but I guess some can be more sever than others
