Mark E Smith covers Prince's Check The Record

The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days...

Looks like Brix nicked Prince's shirt! Don't know how that happened, what with Prince being the control freak he is. Well I guess anything's possible in heaven! smile

This songwriter, frontman also had amazing clairvoyant ability. As displayed in 79's 'Rebellious Jukebox', with the repeated lyric "Taxi for Mr.Nelson".
He, as well as most of the world, didn't know who Prince was at this point. It was indeed a correct observation, as Prince wasn't big enough to warrant limos and thus far was still reliant on cab service.

Not merely a great songwriter, Mark E Smith could also predict terrible things happening in his own hometown of Manchester, believe it or not, and this too in-the-very-same-year they happened.
Like the IRA bomb in 96's 'Powder Keg'. Or the Arena bombing with 'Victoria Train Station...' from '17, which he correctly surmised would happen next door.

But wait... there's even more!
