R.I.P. Betty Davis Trailblazing Queen of Funk, Dead at 77The ex-wife of jazz legend Miles Davis was years ahead of her time, only to disappear from the spotlight for decades. She only had two songs that hit the BILLBOARD Hot R&B charts: "If I'm In Luck I Might Get Picked Up" in 1973 and her 1975 single "Shut Off The Lights". She influenced Prince, Madonna and Janet Jackson.
