You are preaching to the converted here (already seen this performance), but just chiming in this is a great show to watch if you like high quality musicians playing some groovy music!

Cory tells a story about how he was playing at Bunker's one night and he's in the middle of guitar solo with his eyes closed and feeling it. He said he felt a tap on his foot and he looked down from the stage and Prince was holding a $5 dollar bill up for him to take. Hilarious. If you want to hear some funky ass shit (especially the bass), you need to check out Vulfpeck. Cory is in that band and they are pretty funky. They typically video record their sessions so if you look them up on YouTube you're seeing them record what you're actually hearing. If you're into the Prince connections the look up Vulfpeck Hero Town to see them perform a terack with Michael B. who is KILLING IT. He does a drum break that is incredible.
