Madonna-You must love me vs. Masterpiece Both songs won golden globe awards for best original song. Which one do you prefer and why? | |

Both are just average songs. "You Must Love Me" had more attention because of EVITA, and it could have a tad more gumption behind it. It feels very specific to the movie; the dialog and story in it are strongly tied to Eva Peron's narrative. Every day when I awake, the greatest of joys is mine: that of being ME. |

Masterpiece is kind of a bland ballad. I like You Must Love Me better. Madonna sounds much more emotional on it. | |

You Must Love Me is the better track. More depth and vulnerability.
