Madonna-You must love me vs. Masterpiece

Both songs won golden globe awards for best original song. Which one do you prefer and why?

Both are just average songs. "You Must Love Me" had more attention because of EVITA, and it could have a tad more gumption behind it. It feels very specific to the movie; the dialog and story in it are strongly tied to Eva Peron's narrative.

"Sooner or Later" is better.

Masterpiece is kind of a bland ballad. I like You Must Love Me better. Madonna sounds much more emotional on it.

You Must Love Me is the better track. More depth and vulnerability.


Masterpiece...honetly I have always felt is overrated. Voices, Devil Wouldnt Recognize You, What It Feels Like For A Girl I always felt were better created ballads.
