Everybody has to experience the Billy Idol Christmas album at least one time in their lives.

Kellys 2nd Christmas album just came out. I really liked the last one.

Man, I am sticking with the first Christmas album. I forgot she went through a divorce before buying this. Her lead single should have been a heads up but this is the most negative, "fuck you" while smiling in your face, weird Christmas album ever. Bad vibes! eek

CD Steve Perry - The Season (NEW this year)

Wow! This one really surprised me because he covered a lot of classics but the little touches he added are very sensual and romantic! love2 kisses

I've heard a christmas song at the grocery store last week. Little drummer boy is all I know about it. The lead vocalist was not bad but there was a higher ( male?) voice in the background that was absolutely amazing. And I just can't find the damn version. I'd only listen to this song again for that voice in the background.

Was it the version with Bing Crosby and David Bowie? Look that up on YouTube. It sounds like it might be what you're looking for.

Good call. If it isn't their exact version, it's only because artists cover their mashup "Little Drummer Boy (Peace On Earth)".

I shazamed an awesome Christmas HOUSE song, but it will be released in December.

It's not but it's very similar. The version I heard is slower and sounds a bit darker and while Bowie's voice is high there, the other persons voice is more on the background and higher. The person is the background can also only be heard for a few seconds. So it's really just short background vocals. I wish I could describe it better. There's probably more than 100 versions of this song lol

It might be a cover because that piece on earth part was in it too, more in the background.

Just crazy about the ;

Sufjan Stevens Christmas album

James Brown

80s christmas

The Moog machine Christmas Album

And the worst christmas album ever, by the bling German 70s crooner, Heino

Yes, I play them all. smile

This last album has a beautiful pop-up inner cover art...

I heard this album a lot over the years. Several relatives had it when I was little. A lot of it would get played on the radio. The Donny Hathaway song This Christmas & Feliz Navidad by José Feliciano was played a lot too. Even when it wasn't Christmas. A Christmas doesn't go by without hearing Silent Night by The Temptations over & over, especially on R&B radio. That's the 1980 version, not the 1 from the 1960s.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Too chirpy and bubblegum for my ears. "Give Love On Christmas Day" is wonderful but I prefer the covers.

Why would you think New Edition's version is any less bubblegum? razz I like bubblegum music and have made threads about it here.

That reminds me of something. One of my favorite songs is Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep by the sibling group Mac & Katie Kissoon. It's not a Christmas song though

James Brown even has a good Xmas album...

Ella Fitzgerald too.
