Elvis' Christmas Album (also reissued as It's Christmas Time) is the third studio album and first Christmas album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley on RCA Victor, LOC -1035, a deluxe limited edition, released October 15, 1957, and recorded at Radio Recorders in Hollywood. It has been reissued in numerous different formats since its first release. It spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart, and was the first of two Christmas-themed albums Presley would record, the other being Elvis Sings the Wonderful World of Christmas, released in 1971. The publication Music Vendor listed Elvis' Christmas Album on their singles charts for two weeks in December 1957 – January 1958, with a peak position of No. 49.
It is the first Presley title to attain Diamond certification by the RIAA, and is also the best-selling Christmas album of all time in the United States.

Looks to be an original, but not sure. Real lucky Thrift find earlier this year. Plays pretty good with some pops I'd rate it B-. The cover is in real good condition along with 5 photos of EP inside. πŸŽΆπŸŽ€πŸŽΈπŸ™

9 to 5 and Odd Jobs is the twenty-third solo studio album by Dolly Parton. It was released on November 17, 1980, by RCA Records. A concept album about working, the album was centered on Parton's hit "9 to 5", which served as the theme song to the film of the same name (co-starring Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin), and topped both the U.S. country and pop charts. The album's two additional singlesβ€”a cover of Mike Settle's "But You Know I Love You" and a reading of "The House of the Rising Sun" – provided further country hits, with "But You Know I Love You" also reaching #1.

Found today. Never owned this album. She does a good version of House of the Rising Sun, which I've never heard before and course 9 to 5 the big hit of this soundtrack. B+ condition with some pops and decent cover art. Here's to Dolly! ❀️🎢😎

Dolly is the best! Just saw a Christmas TV special I happened to switch on. Her voice is still on par and whatever work she's had these days, she looks better than Madonna! LOL Currently I'm re-visting Diana Ross on the "Diana" and "The Boss" LPs--easily two of her best IMO (thanks to the 1980 hits thread). Plus, that stops me from going to see a funk band tomorrow to dance the old year away when it isn't a good idea to do it right now. Went to a Metallica concert two weeks ago with 20,000 people from all over the world and got away scot-free without getting sick from Covid. Not gonna try it this weekend in a small club where the masks come off after midnight! razz lol

Instead of new vinyl buys--checking out stuff I've bought in the last year and a half (since I took up collecting vinyl again...after not owning any since the 1980s! LOL). Tonight putting on some of my first Ebay purchases--70s pressings from an old dude's personal collection and, man, did he take care of these! Up first--the 1976 soundtrack from the film "The Song Remains The Same."
