Will watch this later. All for you reached 3 million and could have reached 4 million had more singles been released, it’s aged well too, which I didn’t expect.

Damita jo is a nice album too, could have easily done a minimum of 2 million in the us, I also think her not touring Europe hurt her career overseas

Imo

All for you was superior

Cheerful and full of hope for a new millennium

9/11 happened in the middle of that tour

Damita Jo was fine but not as cheerful. It didn't capture the mood. Superbowl incident was also a media out to get any Jackson they could as mj was not doing the wrong they wanted to do him for.

All For You was a superb album hurt by weak single releases Son Of A Gun and Come On Get Up.

Missy Elliot's remix didn't help Son Of A Gun at all either. I always felt China Love and

You Ain't Right should have been follow up singles to All For You and Someone To Call My Lover.

China Love is one of her best ballads imo.

I still play come on get up often by watching the tour performance. A video for it would have been nice and probably would have reached number 1

I remember Janet wanted to release trust a try though it didn’t materialize

"You TELL 'EM, Carly!" UGH!!!! THAT song was the absolute WORST piece of CRAP I've ever heard in my entire LIFE! The "You're So Vain" sample worked, but having Carly Simon rappin' up in there was a hot MESS in my opinion. Not 2 mention Missy Elliot's awful remix only made it worse. Jam & Lewis seemed 2 have been strugglin' a bit on this one. Horrible choice 4 a single and should've been eliminated from the album altogether. The M.F. bombs only cheapened it too. It just didn't connect very well; felt like an incomplete song altogether.

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

Agreed. I would just skip over that song.
