Any Fans Of Nicole Renee??

I made a topic about her the minute I stepped in here 4 the 1st time and as you see I'm posting another thread about her(I can't help it).

Man, I can't skip ANY song when I listen to that woman's LP! I still remember her back when she was a host in the BET TEEN SUMMIT but I sho as hell didn't think that she's that good when it comes to music. I hear many influences in her music like Sly Stone, Crutis Mayfeild, Mother's Finest and THE MOST, who? You guessed it-Prince. I hear Prince in every song in that LP.

Last thang I heard about her is she mixed a song in Anastasia's latest LP "Freak Of Nature" and that source by allmusic.com. That woman need to step back again in the music biz sad

Anyone feels me??

All I can say is...Cocaine Lane! What a great voice this woman has. I love this album and wish she'd do another.

Check out the way she sings "Praise the Lord" at the end of Cocaine Lane. There is no mistake, she aint fuckin around. smile

I heard her talk in a radio show back in 98 and she was talking about this song and its effect on the streets. She said the song have a deeper meaning despite the title and I 4got what she said in the rest of the interview. I wonder what was she talking about in that joint?

You betta check Ugh!(God) if you wanna know what I'm talking about(The Prince Influence) that song is powerful!

BTW Lamont Dozier(The Motown's sound maker), Arif Mardin and Bruce Sweden are co-helping in that set.
