I love him. His music has been a healing force the past year, especially the “Welcome” album. And this upcoming one will be released just a few days from my birthday, it’s gonna be a nice belated bday present thanks for the heads up.

I like how the Rob Thomas one is called Move. They were probably like, Hmm what word sounds like Smooth?

I love Carlos Santana in that, like Prince, he is basically unstoppable in his bringing new music.
Mixed feelings about this album. Sounds like another attempt at the old 'Supernatural' collab thing. That was ok but I prefer my Santana 'neat', without too many hangers-on as it were .
And he's working with Diane Warren . 'She's Fire' indeed ...
Still, Corey Glover sounds a good fit for Santana. [Edited 10/5/21 7:59am]

yeah,I wish that he do an album with just his excellent band instead of all these guest artists,But I'm sure I'll find some great songs here. The track with Steve Winwood is nice

They sure are, he remained prolific & consistent quality-wise, whether it’s his band, a collaborative album with Alice Coltrane, or under Devadip name or a live album in a volcano in Hawaii. I m just grateful he still records and puts on kick ass shows, even though I don’t go usually go back to his newer outputs after the initial listens.

I totally agree. He’s got a really diverse and impressive catalog.I’m always excited to hear a new Santana album.I like that he’s not into the “showbiz” aspect of being an artist. He is genuine and truly serious about making music.

I’ll have to say that’s one of the initial persuasive factors that draw me in to Santana’s albums, the cover/art direction. I love how he stayed consistent with bringing forth interesting art via cover albums. Kudos to the artist whoever they are.

Yes,the artwork on his albums is very impressive.I'm happy that he went with a blue theme this time. That's my favorite color
