I think it's a good song,but it sounds like most of the music that was being played on R&B radio during that time.Which means it probably would have been a big hit back then.

There needs to be a movie about Soul Train.Throughout the years,I have heard about plans for some kind of film.One idea is to make a movie about the Soul Trains dancers.Another idea is to make it a biopic about Don Cornelius' life.

It sure has. My boy Basie Skanks came over from Greenleaf and bought his dirt over to American Soul. My favorite episode was the episode with Darius McCrary playing James Brown and Big Boi playing George Clinton. Don't laugh at my funk

Wow! I wonder why? When you think of 70s Funk those two bands were the leaders of the pack. Indeed,but I wonder…how could all those members of P-Funk fit on that small stage?  it might have been hard to do.In the early days of Soul Train,a few artists performed live.But after awhile,Don insisted that the performers lip-sync and I think that may be why EW&F and Parliament/Funkadelic chose not to perform. | |
