The article is long-ish, but juicy. Buckingham calls Stevie "alone," and Stevie says the band was toxic. Here are some bits:

the funny thing is....based on recent comments by Mick,it seemed as if they were patching things up and possibly getting ready to reunite....but these new comments by Lindsey may change all that Stevie seems really pissed.

I really don't want to take sides and there's probably alot of stuff that we don't know....but all I'm gonna say is that it seems like Lindsey got a raw deal they fired him,replaced him with two other guys and carried on as if everything was normal.Just seems wrong to me.

Yes, from the outside looking in that seems to be the case. I just don't have the insider information and perspectives. If it was just longstanding issues with no extroadanry incident right before the firing, then yes that seems extreme because Stevie and/or whoever else didn't have to agree to the reunion to begin with.

Yeah,I wish that he would just call her up,invite her to lunch,sit down and discuss it together....as opposed to going to the media with it.I understand his anger and frustration,but I think he just made everything worse

in other Lindsey Buckingham news...he's got a new solo album due next week.

For Lindsey to be able to sue the band and get a settlement for it, then I doubt we know it all and that Stevie did not in some way want him out for some reason. Honestly the band is a mess and has been for awhile, I don't think we will ever see it as it was again.

This is sad to see. I love them all. Likely 2nd to Prince, this group was the soundtrack to my youth. No one looks good here.

There's been over 20 different members since the group began in the 1960s. Plus there's the early 1970s band Stretch, known as "fake Mac" & Chicken Shack. I don't think all of them could get much attention in a 90 minute or 2 hour movie.

At this point,I feel like.....if they can't get it together and work things out,just call it a day and retire they're all in their 70s now,anyway.Everyone should just "go their own way",as the song says.

Unfortunately,it's the fans who are getting screwed.They won't get that big,final farewell tour.I'd rather just play one of their old albums and remember them in a positive light.

That CSNY thing is bonkers. Neil Young always seemed like he didn't give a shit about anything anyway. But David was in an interview on CBS Sunday Morning and on The Howard Stern Show, ran down the list of why none of them talk to him.

I never listened to their music; seemed way too folksy for my tastes. But to see these Woodstock types fussin' among themselves is sorta hysterical. Reminds of the fight between John Herbert (the old pedohebephile in the neighborhood) and his old Nazi tormentor Lieutenant Franz Schlechtnacht on Family Guy. Just two old codgers going at it.

They have been doing this for over 40 years. It just must be tiring for all of them at their age now to keep on with personalities and things that wont change.
