- Honestly, I have all these albums. And I love the smell of an old vinyl cover more than a new one. (Well it depends on which release... ) No need for this fancy package for me though it looks awesome. -They could've put two more albums to this package though. 10 would've been better. They could've added any Trammps, Loleatta Holoway, First Choice albums to it. Still nice to see this being released. - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. phunkdaddy said: I remember a few months ago Morris Day put on his FB page “what was everyone favorite soundtrack between Purple Rain, Shaft, and Superfly?” and he said don't tell him what everyone thinks he wants to hear that’s a tough one,but I’m gonna go with ‘Superfly’.

Following the recent announcement of an Anthology box set for the Philadelphia International Records, record club Vinyl Me, Please has turned its attention to one of music's most famous multi-hyphenate talents: Quincy Jones. The multi-instrumentalist-composer-producer-arranger-conductor's credits are too numerous to mention, but VMP's Anthology - due in January 2022 - provides a career overview bookended by two of his most acclaimed jazz recordings. The 12-LP box set The Story of Quincy Jones Anthology is produced in cooperation with Quincy Jones Productions and is cross-licensed from labels including Universal and Warner. - I'm getting a bit tired of these colored (re)releases. I feel that the cow is being milked and milked. Don't get me wrong, I bought a lot already, but somehow I start to feel cheated. They actually never add something tot the 'musical' value of it all. They often state the music is remastered, and it is not always the case. It's just a new print in new vinyl and that alone sounds often better, i have to admid. Basically no new music, no extras, just rarely some added info, a short text or something. Again, happy for some re-releases that were difficult to find. But like a colleciton of Miles Davis older albums with new artwork by some fotographer... I don't know. Fells like quick money grabbing. Is this the end of vinyl releases as we know it ? - Same with the Prince rereleases... Always that pruple colour. And it even isn't the right purple. The only right pruplr was the one used for the 1984 release of Pruple Rain imho. - Why can't they be more creative and original ? The only colored vinyl album I have is Sun's Sunpower album from 1977. It's a yellow colored vinyl album Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

Sun is such an underrated band.So many great uptempo jams ("Sun Is Here","Radiation Level") but also some fine slow jams ("I Had A Choice","Baby I Confess").

No video for "Clouds". "Eye To Eye" is from the 1985 Live in London show. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

I already bought this....recieved it a week and a half ago. although I already had all the cd anyways...I just had to get this remastered reissued set...Love the few bonus edits. Wish the booklet had more photos and info though....the credits for the album "With You" are missing. Now if they'd only do this for her Motown output!

my favorite Stacy Lattisaw album is 1982's 'Sneakin' Out',a very nice, fun early 80s R&B album .This album contains the funky, playful "Attack Of The Name Game",which is sorta like early rap.It also includes an excellent old school remake "Hey There Lonely Boy" and the dreamy closing ballad "I Could Love You So Divine".Her strongest, most consistent album imo.

Yeah I'm torn between With You & Sneakin' Out being my favorite albums of hers, followed by Take Me All The Way (which is Motown) then Sixteen and Let Me Be Your Angel

as a huge Earth Wind & Fire fan,I of course have all of their albums and I don't really need any more compilations by them however, this one does look tempting. It contains some rare tracks by associated artists that aren't always easy to find.I'm keeping my eye on this one
