I'm enjoying this thread and getting back into vinyl. I started getting back into it extensively last summer.

I just added an Ifi Zen Phono preamp to my rack setup today and wow my vinyl sounds great now. Made me have a greater appreciation for them. I put these 2 albums on and wow. I could hear George Benson shred the guitar notes clean.

Just played this album a couple days ago. One of my favorite albums from 1982. Probably my favorite year for music in the 80's. I like the Stax/Volt revue album post too.

Man, they had some great albums out when I was in high school. Just put this old vinyl on and it has me up dancing in my livingroom like a fool.

Omigawd--I rehabilated a 40 year old beat-up Technic SL-20 turntable and thought it was garbage until I just got this (40 year old) receiver made in Japan that was serviced. Hooked it up to the Advent speakers with better copper cables and now the Technics SL-20 sounds sweet as hell. Playing Heart right now--couldn't sound better!

Just opened up an unopened vinyl copy of the rare lp "Some Girls In Texas," which is my favorite live recording of the Rolling Stones. Bought it a couple of months ago on Ebay and hadn't opened it until now. It sounds wonderful. Those dualing guitars...

So freaking good music... Used vinyl--so smooth. less problems than some of the new.
