Thoughts on Corey Hart?

Anyone else a fan? He always looked like Harrison Ford to me.lol His big hit is Sunglasses At Night which I love the beat for. The lyrics are a little cheesy but I still enjoy it. I'm more of a fan of Never Surrender. Love that sax solo! What happened to saxes in songs? They used to be huge and cool in the 80s (or maybe it was just little kid me thinking that) but then seemed to be uncool in the 90s and 2000s and up.

Some other good songs by him Everything in my Heart, Eurasian Eyes, Bang! (Starting Over), A Little Love, Boy in a Box, Spot you in a Coalmine, It Ain't Enough and I am by Your Side.

Never Surrender is one to really check out. It's classic 80s!

Corey is amazing loved his work back then and then he did some production and wrote for other artists, Celine Dion being one, but he was concentrating on raising his kids he literally walked away from this for them. Then when his children got older they started seeing Corey Hart was this beloved musician who despite not having new music out was still in demand from his loyal fans. He literally came back a few years back started releasing songs here and there and then focused on an EP which is wonderful you should check it out called "Dreaming Time Again" with some really good songs, I think people forget or never thought he was a great writer but he is, infact he always says that is what he wants to be known as, he never thought he would sing, just no one ever wanted to sing his lyrcis back when he was a teenager so he did it, a demo tape slipped to Billy Joels Band member and the rest is history. He is still very active in many things still occasionally releasing new music, i have a feeling he is going to release more in 2022 and possibly play some shows outside of Canada too.
