I watched a recent interview Willie D & Scarface did on The Breakfast Club radio show. They mentioned how the album cover photo came to be. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |

Yeah, that's a REAL crazy story. R.I.P. Bushwick Bill. * I purchased this when it came out. It was cool- had some good songs (I remember liking Willie D's "Homey Don't Play Dat") but I remember thinking then (and now) that it wasn't nearly as solid or consistent of either version of the Grip It album. | |

The Other Level was my favorite on that album outside of Mind's Playing Tricks on Me. Quickie wasn't bad either. | |
