I always referred to him as Mister Cool. Even though Robert Bell is Kool I

always felt DT put the Cool in the band. He was always the sharpest dressed with his trademark

shades. He also sung lead on Hollywood Swinging. He's the father of the late Family Matters actress Michelle Thomas.

RIP DT

I know. They have been dying off in recent years. sad

I can't remember the trumpet player name that had been playing with them

during JT's tenure but he probably wasn't an original member but I believe he is

still living. I know I used to see them perform and he was always friendly with the fans

and he was one of the ones along with DT that would do the dance routines in the background.
