I watched a recent interview Willie D & Scarface did on The Breakfast Club radio show. They mentioned how the album cover photo came to be.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I purchased this when it came out. It was cool- had some good songs (I remember liking Willie D's "Homey Don't Play Dat") but I remember thinking then (and now) that it wasn't nearly as solid or consistent of either version of the Grip It album.

The Other Level was my favorite on that album outside of Mind's Playing Tricks on Me. Quickie wasn't bad either.
