SNF fun fact: There is a scene in the film where Tony and Annette are rehearsing their dance moves. You will notice some generic disco music playing in the background. They originally used Boz Scaggs' 1976 hit "Lowdown" in this scene, but for some reason, his manager refused to let that song appear in the movie confuse thus, they used that generic music instead.

Lol..I remember reading that. Boz said that was the biggest mistake of his career. He missed out on big bucks from the publishingof that album...Even Travolta was smart enough to have a clause in his contract to receive a percentage of royalties from the soundtrack.

another fun fact about the SNF soundtrack:

The soundtrack features a KC and the Sunshine Band song “Boogie Shoes”.

The filmmakers originally asked for their 1976 hit “Shake,Shake,Shake (Shake Your Booty)” but KC talked them into using “Boogie Shoes” instead. That song is from their 1975 album and was never released as a single.

Due to its exposure in the movie and on the soundtrack, this 1975 song was finally released as a single in 1978 and became a big hit.

Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters is a huge Bee Gees fan.He recently recorded about five Bee Gees songs for his new album. The first single is “You Should Be Dancing”.

That's interesting info about "Boogie Shoes"....That's a great song. I didn't want to like "The Dee Gees" (I'm not a Foo Fighters fan), but Dave Grohl and co. did a great "tongue and cheek" tribute to the Gibb brothers....they also slayed "Shadow Dancing".

Dave seems like a cool guy smile and he genuinely loves the Bee Gees.I suspect that many other rockers do too,but they won't admit it.
