CD's and vynil are barely damaging to the environment compared to non-electric cars, planes/globalization or the fucking envelope plastics (disposable) used in the food industry that are killing the oceans, literally. Or toilet paper. Do you need to have your ass COMPLETELY CLEAN every minute of the day? Do you have your ass rimmed every hour, or something?

Give me a break; you know what should disappear first??: paper. Paper must disappear in the computer era. But even then I understand why people will always need books in physical form; like music.

And you know what? People should stop having kids. One per marriage, tops.

It's preferrable to having shit sticking between the cheecks, but I get the point.

But I agree on plastic. Irks the shit out of me. Every week there is a bag full of plastic waste. But really, what's the solution? As packaging goes, it's convenient, even though not very environmentally minded. Then again, if shit would be recycled as advertised and not sold off to third world countries like India or wherever Europe and US ship their shit, to do whatever with it, things probably would look way different. Either way. CDs are not to be blamed for the shit state of things.

And yes, I'd rather not have kids, than stopping to buy music.

Especially since I doubt that many people here are buying CDs/records of the acts who currently sell the most like Cardi B., Taylor Swift, Lizzo, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Georgia Florida Line, etc. Like performers who are currently having hits, not like Prince who hasn't had a big hit single since the 1990s.
