Always been a fan of this band. This record is really good and sounds A+ clean. Dave sounds like Rick Springfield(He is a fan and played with him) on some tracks. Amazon ordered and packed well. My third vinyl purchase from them. I looked at my order history and I forgot I bought Amy Winehouse Back to Black(New $19.99) for only $9.99 and Portishead(used $45) for $7.99 in early 2013. 😲This record will be on repeats. 😁

Medicine at Midnight is the tenth studio album by American rock band Foo Fighters. It was released through RCA and Roswell Records on February 5, 2021, after having its release be pushed out of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Produced by Greg Kurstin and the band, the album shows a slight shift in the band's style, pairing their usual rock sound with elements of dance-rock and pop.

Three singles were released for the album: "Shame Shame" in November 2020, "No Son of Mine" on New Year's Day 2021, and "Waiting on a War" in January 2021. The album received generally positive reviews from critics.

Grohl likened the album's sound to David Bowie's Let's Dance album, with him explaining that it's "not like a EDM, disco, [or] modern dance record" but rather "this really up, fun record" that is "filled with anthemic, huge, sing-along rock songs."

Evelyn Champagne King! 👏💃

Wiki

Get Loose is the fifth studio album from American singer Evelyn King, released by RCA Records in August 1982. It was produced by Morrie Brown, Kashif and Paul Lawrence Jones III.
20210720-184342
The album peaked at number-one on the R&B albums chart. It also reached #27 on the Billboard 200. It produced the hit singles "Love Come Down", "Betcha She Don't Love You", "Back to Love", and "Get Loose". The album was certified gold by the RIAA. The album was digitally remastered and reissued on CD with bonus tracks in 2010 by Big Break Records and Sony Music Legacy.

This was one of the hottest records in the early eighties in the R&B and pop charts I used to have the single Love come down. So cool to find record and the long version on here. I'm hoping to find a greatest hits on LP. She had lots of hits. 🙏 🎶💃🎤

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I'm enjoying this thread and getting back into vinyl. I started getting back into it extensively last summer.

I just added an Ifi Zen Phono preamp to my rack setup today and wow my vinyl sounds great now. Made me have a greater appreciation for them. I put these 2 albums on and wow. I could hear George Benson shred the guitar notes clean.

thumbs up!

Just played this album a couple days ago. One of my favorite albums from 1982. Probably my favorite year for music in the 80's. I like the Stax/Volt revue album post too.

Oh wow, I have that one (on CD) and totally forgot about it!
Have to put it on one of these data. Anyway, I've been in a Rolling Stones mood lately.
If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger tool than I am.

Listening to Samantha Fish's last album "Kill or Be Kind" again on vinyl and have her new seventh album on pre-order. Following the pic of "Kill or Be Kind" is a link to my get-over-humpday-live jam of the week of two songs off that album: "Kill Or Be Kind/Watch It Die." cool

I still hear the Eric Benét & Faith Evans version of Georgy Porgy on the radio pretty often, so I decided to play this album.

Omigawd--I rehabilated a 40 year old beat-up Technic SL-20 turntable and thought it was garbage until I just got this (40 year old) receiver made in Japan that was serviced. Hooked it up to the Advent speakers with better copper cables and now the Technics SL-20 sounds sweet as hell. Playing Heart right now--couldn't sound better!
