RIP: Nanci Griffith

Grammy-winning folk singer-songwriter from Texas, whose literary songs like "Love at the Five and Dime" celebrated the South, has died. She was 68.

I saw her live back in the late 80s/early 90s and still listen to her albums from that era. Some great songs. RIP.

Oh no. We have a lot of her earlier work. Good songwriter and artist. She will be missed.

I was a huge fan and saw her live many times here in Glasgow. Her passing isn’t in the same league as P, but it’s definitely hit me nonetheless. She was certainly one of my top ten favourites. RIP.
