Not sure why someone brought up him being Jewish, but if anything, you shoudl be thanking him for 1) documenting it and 2) tryng to get it published. .
From the NYT article: .
"He tried, unsuccessfully, to interest networks in using his footage for a documentary; another plan to make a documentary ended a decade ago. Until he died at 90 on Aug. 29 in Bronxville, N.Y., he was still hoping that a film or a series would be made, his daughter, Sasha Tulchin, said." .
And while many--but not all--- Jews "present" as white (like Halsey), here is a breakdown of why all Jews are POC and not white from a historical, sociological and emprical perspective. .

And for the lazy peole who wont bother to read it, just remember the white supremecists in Charlotte were chanting "Jews will not replace us". [Edited 7/28/21 22:05pm]

What I also wish would one day be released (if it was even taped) is one of these Budweiser Superfest shows... ALL of these artists in one day? I don't think its even possible for a lineup like that these days with the calibre of talent around today.

I went to one of these in the 80, but I coudl swear it was called the "Carefree Curl Superfest" and I went to see Patti Labelle but the "headliners" were Maze and The Whispers.

I hope there were some black music festivals from the Seventies that have been forgotten and be resurrected later!

Oh man. The latest issue of Rolling Stone with Billie Eilish on the cover has an article on which ?uestlove points out that PRINCE'S MEMOIRS has a very vivid recollection of seeing Woodstock (1970) in the theatre, and remarked, like, what if Prince had got to see this movie? Obviously, it would have been very valuable to black culture.

Don’t know, but the lineups on the concert set list pages have most of the headliners appearing at each show. Any one of those acts would have been amazing on their own, but damn… I can’t even comprehend a show with all that talent. I wonder if they each played full sets.
