I might be trolling for saying Brian Wilson instead of the Beach Boys but if it’s good enough for David Crosby to say “Beach Boys were Brian Wilson” then it’s good enough for me. This one should be titled Brian Wilson featuring The Wrecking Crew actually buuuuut anyway enough about semantics.

It blows my mind that a 23 years old boy composed such a gorgeous piece of music, everytime I hear this instrumental it takes me back to a very vivid and tangible-like memory, the music totally fits the feeling of escapism and even wonder. I remember putting that song & Shuggie Otis’ “Pling!” on loop while driving alongside the Pacific coast highway back to my student dorm in the valley, they still conjure up my exact emotions that afternoon.
