More details on the upcoming album FUTURE PAST: https://ultimateclassicro...ture-past/ . The new album sounds exciting with production from Giorgio Moroder, Mark Ronson, and Erol Alkan. if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2

- Kicks of as a Prince track (Erotic City vibe on the groove), and then a typical Duran Duran refrain. Nice song. Video is bizarre, but cool too. - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. Wow. The imagery is a nightmare set to an 80's throwback groove. But, the message is, "the world is your creation, and this is what it looks like". [Edited 5/20/21 12:22pm] "Whatever skin we're in

I hear WDC. As a matter of strong opinion, i even hear a snippet of the WDC guitar intro at the beginning of this. "Whatever skin we're in

- I feel like the eighties and funk are back. Not that this is a funk song, but listen to other new releases. Kinda like it. - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Strong track, and as Simon said off the whole record they wanted it too sound stripped and naked, hopefully this will be the case, I believe two producers on the album overall, one has worked with bands like BLUR and the other, more dance orientated artists since he is a DJ, so I am hoping its not another Red Carpet Mess where it was a Timblaland album with Simon Lebon and everyone else was absent it seemed and buried in the mixing. But this sounds good and Duran used a new technology for the sound and the video creation. Here are the Durans (plus Graham Coxon of BLUR on guitar) at the Billboard Awards: if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2

My 2 cents .No it don't sound like Erotic City and no it don't have When Doves Cry guitar sample. It does have a feel of the old Duran Duran track Wild Boys and yes the track is great.

Graham Coxon on guitar for Duran Duran is one of the oddest things i've ever seen. It's way outside his usual style, cool that he's doing it though! [Edited 5/25/21 6:53am]

Love them since the first album, but their albums now are full of fillers. Last time I saw them in concert, Simon, never the best singer in the world to start with just shouts the lyrics rather than sings them and looks like most of Nick's pieces are not live...

Where is it? I can't see it. If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.
