Nike sues over Lil Nas X 'Satan Shoes' You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

So pathetic, some people will do anything for money, fame, and attention....too bad that many fall for it and give it to them.

Horrible idea for a shoe and attention. "We're not hitchhiking anymore!....we're riding!!"

I wonder if Cardi B bought a pair since she likes bloody shoes.
In the 1970s, KISS put out a comic book where the members put their blood in the ink. I think there is a bigger contoversy with the Montero music video than the sneakers You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. And then there's artists like Vinicent Castiglia who paint with human blood... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

this talentless boy has been a digusting and sickening degenerate ever since he first appeared on the scene...he's doing everything the industry puppet-masters want him to do, and its damn near vomit inducing to see a young black man stoop to such deviant behaviors to gain "fame" and money...he is the epitome of a sellout, and symbolic of the poisoning of "entertainment" and pop culture in general

Unfortunately, that's the kind of world we live in today. I'm just glad that I don't have any kids in this time and age, who could possibly be a fan of this guy.

You clicked on this thread more than once, even after your comment about the blood paintings. You volunteered to do so. all this over one drop of blood in a shoe?

I don't think the blood is the main thing that people are upset about. It's the devil imagery with the shoes and his new music video Montero. It's similar to the 1980s in which some parents complained about the same thing in heavy metal music. Such as playing the record backwards had hidden messages. Since the shoes used are originally Nike and the shoes has a backwards Nike symbol, people think they made the shoes. A little while back Nike did put out a Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air sneaker. They're not suing Lil Nas X, but MSCHF who designed & sold the shoes. The swoosh symbol is Nike's trademark. Some people are also complaining that Lil Nas X has many young children fans who liked Old Town Road. He's even been on Sesame Street. It's like when Hannah Montana became Miley Cyrus and the image was totally different. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Perfectly explained RJ, thank you. The guy is just a tool being used. He makes Stepin Fetchit seem like Malcom X.

It’s sad and embarassing the way many of today’s so-called “artists” will do anything for media attention. The music takes a back seat. These folks would rather be shameless media whores.Kanye West is a prime example. I don’t know too much about this Lil Nas guy,but it seems like he specializes in outrageous publicity stunts.Anything for attention, huh? Smh

It's disturbing how many people believe in the soul selling shit theories. Or that musicians can be a tool for satanic shit. This is so ridiculous
