Who is "us"? I don't hear him on the radio other than the oldies station and that's mostly Wishing Well & Sign Your Name. The last time I heard a new song played was Delicate in the early 1990s. I've never heard anything on the radio released as Sananda, not even once. So if you hear his newer stuff, you're looking for it You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I've followed Sananda through his albums, and this is not his 'worst' - if you have a problem with whimsical, childish music. Personally, I don't. In an age of artistic freedom and managing yourself without big money editing what you do, the calculated hit is a thing of the past. . I'm a little surprised to see a full video for this though. This video is all forms of 'wtf'?

2) the visuals are 100% more interesting than the song 3) the song sounds like a corny moment in the studio where the band is fucking around 4) who the fuck is the white girl playing air guitar with a song that is a basically a piano, stand up bass, and a snare drum? GTFO 5) there are worst songs by TTD, but this one is definitely setting up camp with them
Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

How many people go looking on the Internet for stupid things to view? Sananda gonna make a million bucks offa this silly video of people dancing crazy to a universally basic and silly song. Lol.

I don't think Sananda's stuff is that popular. I think he might make that from Terence Trent D'Arby hits. It's not like this track is gonna go viral on TikTok or be a trending video on Youtube. He doesn't get the Charlie Wilson numbers either and Charlie has been out way longer than Sananda/TTD. Figuratively, you know. He'll get some eyballs and clicks on that video and maybe his channel. It's not like he doesn't need the money, though. He sings about it! > He does generally produce really nice lyric videos, IMO.

wow...thats 100٪ accurate...the visual props...the colors...the generic looking people dancing...all straight from any random Target Christmas season commercial...even the corny Nickelodeon style music...

'dem Target commercials are catchier than Christmas, itself.

Hahaha!
That was hilarious! Long time fan TTD fan here, but someone who adores his first 5 albums, and never listens to any of the albums after that. I have done, but they're not in regular rotation around here.
Came back to say that yes, Sananda has watched too many Target commercials... in fact, judging by the budget of his last video (embarrasingly cheap), and the amount of people and locations in this one, as well as that it's been properly lit, shot and post-produced, I wonder if he didn't just buy/lease/steal a bunch of Target (and similar brand) commercial outtakes for this. None of them are really moving specifically in time to the track, none of them are singing the lyrics.... so it's possible.
It's funny, and Sananda has always that humorous side, with silly little puns and comedic moments on his records that seem to put a lot of people off... I don't actually mind that side of his character... although I can't help but think that this silly little ditty would've been - in his heyday - a short breakdown or bridge within a different, better song....
And I didn't make it all the way through. I looked at the timer and was like - there's still another minute and a half of this? Oh. I think I'm done.
Funny though. And all those saying it's awful/horrible? I get that response, but c'mon, this didn't make you laugh - at least at first?

. "a target ad on crack" - very funny..! that comment actually put a big smile on my face. . yeah, this song is silly - or "very whimsical" if you prefer. I think this is the 1st Sananda song I've heard since "sign your name".. back when he was "TTD" . I speak Italian & I have lived in Italia.. & "non rompere le palle" (or a variation thereof) is something I hear ALL DAY LONG in Italia. 'specially in southern Italia.. I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS.. | |

Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

wow . to me its better than jughead for sure ...
I think alot of Sananda's music is better than that of Princes post 1990s stuff ... I mean Prince was so hit and miss with his stuff . Sananda puts it out slower but I think it is better in so many ways- but that is what is great about prince . org there are people who still think "i rock therefore i am " was mind blowing ... Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.
