wow...great, informative article...Wax Poetics never dissapoints ... even the actual magazine (more like a paperback booklet) is well put together ...sharp images and sturdy and durable pages and covers... i still have WaxP issues from 2007 that look brand new [Edited 2/24/21 16:09pm] | |

I'm more surprised Grand Funk Railroad or Marshall Tucker Band is not in than Barry. It's not a big secret that Jann Wenner is not fond of disco and Barry's music is close enough to it. I think Donna Summer only got in because she had recently passed away the year she was inducted. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
