Stevie Wonder on Bruno Mars' cultural appropriation claims: "He’s a great talent, so all the other stuff is just bullshit,” Wonder added. “He was inspired by great musicians and great artists and songwriters. So that’s good.”

Smokey Robinson on which artist he'd prefer to play at The Apollo: "He’s already done it because Bruno Mars is my favorite,” he said of the singer’s 2017 performance. “I’m very happy that Bruno did that, and not only did he do it, he gave away the tickets.” When it came to picking his favorite Bruno Mars song, the 71-year-old Motown legend couldn’t make up his mind. “I love his music, I can’t pick one,” he said. “He’s made so many hits … He’s my favorite male artist right now.”

Elton John on Bruno Mars: "I saw me some Bruno Mars at a charity event in New York, and we sang Unchained Melody together, and he brought the house down, he got a standing ovation, he blew me away, I mean, his records are really good, but he's a thousand percent better live, he's like, you know, a little Prince. I am such a big fan of his"

Frankie Valli: "Well there's this new kid on the block his name is Bruno Mars, this kid is phenomenal. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he became as Michael Jackson or Elvis Presely"

Adele: "Bruno is the greatest male singer in the world today, he can hit notes I can't..."

There's an entire Youtube video series on what people say about Bruno:

hmm, you know adele's comment kinda throws me off, cause I've seen Bruno cover some Michael Jackson songs and in that video he said he wouldn't play certain songs since he cannot hit those notes. So, I don't see him as the best male singer right now. lol Because if he was he'd surely be able to sing those songs, wouldn't he? And maybe he's better than her, but that don't mean he's the best male singer right now.

LOL. If you're referring to that 7 am Morning show he did back in 2010 when the audience asked him to cover Beat It, and said it's "too high" for him because that was morning, he proceeded to cover The Way You Make Me Feel.

He covered Beat It in the ORIGINAL KEY on many occasions, check Youtube.

Bruno is definitely, undoubtedly the best and most capable pop/R&B vocalist in this generation and it's unquestionable lol . Dude has a 4 octave vocal range and will outsing anyone from Usher to D'Angelo to Daniel Ceaser. Name one artist who can sing higher than him or can belt in a thick, strong voice à la Sting and Freddie Mercury without going to head register/falsetto. I will wait.

I'll pretend you didn't refer to one of the greatest international treasures of the music world as just a "blind man"

Anyways, plenty of household black musicians have complimented Bruno, including Charlie Wilson, Prince, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Lionel Richie...etc

You can google their names + Bruno and interviews or videos will come up.

Well, I can listen to his singing up until he starts to scream his lungs out. If you mean that by thick strong voice then I'd rather have him go to falsetto lol

When did Prince compliment him?

Prince stared at Bruno while he was standing in the Grammys. Then gave him a thumbs up. When Prince died, Bruno shared a note Prince gave him, after he had heard that Bruno considers Prince a hero. And many do, so the fact that Prince gave a special note to Bruno means he appreciates him at least.

No offense, but this wasn't a compliment. It was just Prince saying what he told everybody that 'worshipped' him. And please remember that Prince also thought Carmen Electra had muscial talent.

FACTS..thats how you end up cutting your own money and even possibly getting blacklisted/blackballed...when you trash one artist, you essentially are trashing anyone who works with that artist or is affiliated with that artist...by trashing 1 artist, you might end up pissing off a whole label or distribution group... making more enemies than you bargained for...its not worth the drama

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Perfect that he's brought up since no one's ever told him he's not Black. Talk about musical appropriation. I've never seen a whiter kid trying harder to be Black than Bieber.

It’s just a way to emphasize on the artists of the current/last generation. Otherwise as far as the All Time records there’s definitely The Beatles with 20, Mariah with 18 I think and more icons like MJ, Janet, Whitney...
